The D4 is conveniently situated on the Lucerne–Zug–Zurich axis and has its
own train station, a bus stop and two motorway connections
By car
On the A14 motorway from Zurich to Lucerne, take exit 3 Buchrain-Ebikon towards Root D4 and drive 1.3 kilometres on the cantonal road to Root D4, or take exit 4 Gisikon-Root towards Lucerne and drive 3 kilometres on the cantonal road to Root D4. Paid parking and EV charging stations are available.
By train
The D4 Business Village Luzern is served by regular connections every 30 minutes from Zurich Airport, Zurich city, Bern, Basel, Geneva and Lucerne. Change to the S-Bahn (S1) in Lucerne, Zug or Rotkreuz and get off at the Root D4 stop.
By bus
From Lucerne train station, line 1 (towards Ebikon) runs to Weichlen every 7 minutes. Change for bus 23, which will take you to the D4 Business Village Luzern (D4 Oberfeld stop). The journey takes around 20 minutes.
HitchHike carpooling
You can use HitchHike at the D4 to organise carpools. Search for available rides or offer your own by sharing your route and travel times.
